New Managing Director at Vottler Lackfabrik
(PresseBox) - Since 1 July 2018, Markus Albrecht is the sole management director of the coating manufacturer Vottler Lackfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, based in Korntal-Münchingen, Germany. The graduate engineer for process technology is responsible for the management of all areas of the family-owned company.
Markus Albrecht has 20 years of experience in executive positions in various companies, including ABB Kraftwerke AG, Eisenmann Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG und Riebesam GmbH & Co. KG. For the past five years, Markus Albrecht has been managing director at ASYS Automatic Systems GmbH & Co. KG, a manufacturer of robots and handling systems for the use in ultra-high vacuum and in atmospheres of highest purity. He led the divisions sales, purchasing, engineering, quality management and service.
The appointment of Markus Albrecht as CEO has completed a series of measures Votteler has taken to secure the future of the family company for the long-term. As early as 2014, all family associates transferred their shares to a foundation. As a second step, all family-associated managing directors have terminated their occupation. Chair of the family foundation is Dr. Rainer Votteler.
