In particular, the ICY BOX IB-DK2102-C convinces with its ability to control up to two monitors simultaneously via HDMI®, Mini DisplayPort ? or VGA and provides eight additional interfaces
(PresseBox) - Sooner or later, almost every notebook user will miss at least one of the connection possibilities. Above all, trying to operate additional monitors will pose problems with ever flatter and less connectable notebooks. In hotel rooms, Wi-Fi reception is often unstable at best; Ethernet ports and card readers are no longer standard equipment, either. Old projectors could be controlled via VGA, but no current laptop models are equipped with this option.
ICY BOX resolves this problem with the IB-DK2102-C, and provides users with a versatile solution. Its high-quality aluminium finish and design are striking, since the modern DockingStation can also be used as a base for a notebook. This raises the mobile computer on the rear side, and enables a more ergonomic working. Additionally, no space is lost on the desk surface.
The ICY BOX IB-DK2102-C is connected via USB Type-C? and offers eleven additional ports. The three graphic interfaces HDMI®, Mini DisplayPort? and VGA are particularly worth mentioning here, two of which can run simultaneously.

As a little brother, the ICY BOX IB-DK4021-CPD joins the other new models. The helper, presented in a robust aluminium housing, is also connected to a (portable) computer via a USB Type-C port. One monitor can be connected via HDMI® as well as one additional USB device. Supported resolutions for HDMI®, Mini DisplayPort? are up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz and up to 1920x1200 at 60 Hz (for VGA port).
The two DockingStations are available immediately at a price of ? 119,- (ICY BOX IB-DK2102-C, RRP) and ? 49,- (ICY BOX IB-DK4021-CPD, RRP) in well-assorted specialist shops.
