The new optional Kögel EasyFix sliding roof holder is now available for all Kögel NOVUM generation platform trailers. So now it's quick and easy to secure the open roof. And after completing the loading process, you can close the roof from above without having to unlock it again. The system therefore increases efficiency and safety during loading and unloading.
A sliding roof is indispensable for overhead crane loading. Moving a trailer with an open sliding roof secured with a control rod can dislodge the rod and partially close the roof. So Kögel developed EasyFix, a new sliding roof stopper that keeps the roof securely in position without the driver having to take precautions by tensioning the control rod. The Kögel EasyFix stopper is the only safeguard you need for an open sliding roof ? no backup required. Simply push the sliding roof forward and the Kögel EasyFix stopper automatically locks it in the foremost position and keeps it there. When closing the roof, you no longer have to go through the tedious process of unlocking it again: the EasyFix stopper makes light work of this by pulling it closed.
