Changes at Tractebel Engineering S.A. in Dubai
Thomas Shaw-Dunn and Frederic Arnaud have taken over the management of Tractebel Engineering in Dubai. The long-standing Managing Director Alain Vannerum will leave the company with effect from 31 December 2018. Until then he will support the new management to allow a smooth transition process.
Frederic Arnaud and Thomas Shaw-Dunn, Management of Tractebel Engineering in Dubai, U.A.E.(firmenpresse) - Thomas Shaw-Dunn and Frederic Arnaud have taken over the management of Tractebel Engineering in Dubai. The long-standing Managing Director Alain Vannerum will leave the company with effect from 31 December 2018. Until then he will support the new management to allow a smooth transition process. We would like to thank Alain for his valuable contributions to build the business in the Middle East and wish him all the best for his private life and future career.
Since 23 September 2018, Thomas Shaw-Dunn is the new Regional Manager of Tractebel Engineering S.A. in Dubai. He is responsible for further developing the Middle East region and serving the Middle East countries with consulting services for infrastructure projects in power generation, electricity transmission & distribution and power system consulting. He has been working in the region for the last four years and has gained a large network of contacts in the region.
On 01 October 2018, Frederic Arnaud has started working as Chief Financial Officer at Tractebel Engineering S.A. in Dubai. He is responsible for the project execution and the overall budget in close cooperation with Thomas Shaw-Dunn. Furthermore, he supports and strengthens the local engineering and consulting team with financial information to improve project targets. He can also draw on many years of professional experience in the Middle East. Among other things, he brings with him many years of experience from the Engie Group.
The new management team faces major challenges in a highly competitive market environment, which it wants to master with sound know-how and a high level of commitment. Further tasks will be integrating all Tractebel and Lahmeyer entities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman into one Middle East team.
