Engineering Days China 2018 inspire with steady growth
Continuation of the Chinese-European platform for industrialized building
(PresseBox) - Since its introduction in China in 2016 the organizers Liebherr, Prilhofer Consulting, Precast Software Engineering and RIB SAA Software Engineering have successfully established an important platform for technical cooperation and exchange between China and Europe. Major government agencies in China and sponsors, such as China National Building Materials Group Corporation, China Construction Design Development Committee, China Architectural Design Institute, China Construction Science & Technology, Sino-Ocean Group, Beijing Zhongjianxie Certification Center, Yun Build, GERICON supported the event.
According to our motto "Build on Strengths. Design the Future "on November 23-24, 2018 in Beijing an innovative program on "High Quality, Sustainable, Modular, Info-based Smart Industrialization Technology" with lectures by leading experts and precast concrete companies from Europe and China was presented.
The event was opened with keynotes by the Chinese Ministry of Construction and the Commercial Counsellor, Austrian Embassy Beijing (Head of the Commercial Section of the Austrian Embassy Beijing) Dr. Martin Glatz. At this point we would like to sincerely thank our other guest speakers for their valuable contributions. Dr. Herbert Kahmer/Managing Director Syspro Group Germany and Mr. Josef Neubauer, who reported on the flagship project for industrial construction "Seestadt Vienna" as well as all other speakers. Over 600 participants, amongst others top decision-makers from the largest construction companies and property developers as well as building material manufacturers from China attended the congress. In addition, all major Chinese institutes and universities participated. Parallel to the conference, an exhibition of leading suppliers in the fields of formwork technology, carousel system technology, reinforcement systems, automation technology, CAD, BIM and ERP systems took place.
Engineering Days China is today a well-known discussion platform for Chinese real estate developers, construction companies and precast concrete manufacturers, as well as European technology industry leaders to showcase the benefits of and support the development of industrial precast concrete production in China.
The Engineering Days in Beijing have again contributed to the growing interest of China in precast concrete technology. All European speakers drew attention to the need for BIM-based, industrial production of precast concrete products - as the right path that can lead China to sustainable construction success.
