The 6-month course, which began in July and requires 96 classroom hours broken up into six 2-day sessions, prepares students to bid on and perform work for the United States government.
The program consists of six separate parts, starting with an overview of federal acquisition regulations and moving into planning for strategic growth, marketing, winning federal contracts, and financial requirements.
The final components are negotiated procurement, which includes a mock negotiation, and contract management, which deals with all the things related to managing a federal contract.
