ODU-MAC® Blue-Line awarded as product of the year
(PresseBox) - The ODU-MAC® Blue-Line (Modular Attachable Connector) was awarded with the second prize as the Product of the Year 2019 in the category electromechanics in the 21st reader's choice of the trade journal ?Elektronik". The award is given to electromechanical components which assure high-level and reliable function of electronic devices. Markus Rochau, ODU product manager for rectangular connectors, accepted the prize in the electromechanics category at a ceremony yesterday: "We would like to thank our customers for their confidence in our product and are delighted to receive this award. It acknowledges the commitment of our team and is at the same time an incentive for future developments and innovations".
Customized connector solution in the smallest possible installation space
The individual plug-in connection system of the ODU-MAC® Blue-Line focuses on the simplest handling both during assembly and during operation by the end user. A practical advantage of the ODU-MAC® Blue-Line is its special coding, which ensures correct insertion of the modules in the frame. It is also possible to change the contacts from the connector side, which allows simple assembly or disassembly. The unique ODU spindle technology allows the user to open and close the housings easily and ergonomically. Depending on requirements, modules from the areas of signals, power, high current, high voltage, coax, media such as air or fluids, data rates or light waves can be combined. The connector solutions of the ODU-MAC® Blue-Line are used for example in medical technology as an interface between X-ray equipment and monitor trolley or as a connection between dermatological laser and the individual applicators.
