ROSTA motor bases take over the slippage
(PresseBox) - The ROSTA motor bases are a 2 in 1 system. It is a mounting plate with already existing connection holes for the respective stator sizes, as well as an integrated self-tensioning system, which can be infinitely adjusted according to the number of belts and the belt profile. With the self-tensioning, standardised motor base, which can be used for all friction belt drives from 0.25 kW (1 PS) to 550 kW (750 PS), you always have the ideal belt tension and thus slip-free torque transmission. In addition, the system operator has not to deal regularly with costly drive maintenance and changing the belt is very easy and can be done within minutes without disengaging the drive motor. The motor base also protects the belts from start-up overload through controlled slip behaviour and the belt service life is considerably extended, which in turn saves costs and energy.
