Optimum flexibility in contact design and high-volume manufacturing - all under one roof
(PresseBox) - The ODU TURNTAC® contact system, consisting of turned, slotted contacts, can be used for many applications. It combines best contact properties with optimal cost situation and has proven itself in various fields of application, especially in the automotive sector for e-mobility, power charging, charging adapters, etc.
The time and investment required for the development of such a contact up to series maturity is significantly lower. In addition, changes in the contact design can be implemented very flexibly.
In the last two years, ODU has increased its production capacity by more than 40 %. The existing portfolio of machines has been expanded to include almost exclusively automatic lathe with a sliding headstock. ODU can turn very small ranges with a diameter of 0.3 mm up to highly complex versions with diameters of up to 80 mm and offers optimum flexibility in contact design for smaller and medium volumes.
For high-volume articles, such as contact sockets up to Ø 13 mm, ODU manufactures on fully CNC-controlled rotary transfer machines at maximum production speed and maximum cost efficiency.
