Bechtle extends successful business to shareholders
(PresseBox) - The Bechtle AG AGM today signed off on a dividend payout of ?1.00 per no-par share, an increase of 11.1% compared to the previous year. This translates to a dividend payout ratio of 30.6%, and a dividend yield (in relation to the annual closing price) of 1.5%.
Bechtle pursues a consistent and continuity-driven dividend policy with shareholders receiving a cut in the company?s annual results every year since its IPO in 2000, and a regular dividend jump to boot. This year?s increase is the ninth in a row. Each year, the payout to shareholders amounts to around one-third of earnings after taxes. The dividend is issued on the third business day following the resolution on the appropriation of earnings, so this year on 3 June. Shareholders are eligible to claim dividends provided they owned Bechtle shares on the day of the AGM decision. With some 79% of rights to vote represented, the Bechtle AGM once again recorded a high attendance of shareholders. All propositions on the agenda were met with broad support. 660 investors and an additional 200 visitors set a new record attendance at the AGM.
