Accident Buddy and Camera Telematics Create New Technology

The Street Angel device is linked to the Accident Buddy app and works by capturing high-quality video and photo evidence of road incidents. This footage can then be uploaded onto the app and seen by the company’s claims team and the respective fleet managers. This quick, easy system allows for comprehensive incident management and also gives the driver immediate advice.
Unlike other on board vehicle cameras, Street Angel has a variety of advanced features such as 128GB of internal memory, a shock axis sensor and speedy 4G connectivity. The device automatically transmits data relating to the vehicle’s speed and GPS position, so nothing is ignored when it comes to accuracy. This comprehensive technology really is a must-have for fleet operators.
The Director of Accident Buddy, Martin Haggarty, said that the Street Angel is “the most advanced camera solution available” and that, during their partnership with Camera Telematics, they will be working toward developing further improvements to benefit their customers.
