Mobile panel PC for medical use
(PresseBox) - ICP Germany offers a new Panel PC series especially for mobile use in medical environment. The POCm-W can be equipped with up to three Li-ION battery packs to provide a runtime of 8 hours. The Hot Swap function and the optional battery docking station allow the battery life to be extended at will. Compared to conventional visit wagons with LiFePO4 battery units, the use of Li-ION batteries allows a weight saving of more than 5 kilograms.
The POCm-W is available in the display sizes 21.5" and 23.8" with a resolution of 1920x1080 and a projected-capacitive touch. The Touch is optimized for the use of multi-layer gloves and the detection of splash water and water drops. The housing is anti-bacterial, offers an IP65 front protection and a back with IP32 protection. A passively cooled version with Intel® mobile ULT Core? i7-6600U, i5-6300U and Celeron® 3855U is offered. The POCm-W is pre-equipped with 4GB DDR4 RAM and can be extended up to 32GB. For storage media, both a 2.5" SATA drive bay accessible from the outside and two M.2 interfaces with RAID functionality are available. Furthermore the POCm-W offers two GbE network interfaces, two HDMI, two RS-232/422/485, four USB 3.0, two USB2.0, as well as audio connections. A 5 megapixel webcam with auto focus and digital microphone, two 3 watt loudspeakers and WLAN functionality complete the features for use in a mobile environment. In addition to the battery docking station and the Li-Ion batteries, a USB VoIP telephone with holder, a magnetic card reader, a Mifare RFID reader, a TPM module and cable covers are available as accessories. Upon customer request, ICP assembles the POCm-W with the desired operating system and suitable industrial components.
