S14 Solutions Day on September 25, 2019 at COMM-TEC
(PresseBox) - The AV industry will come together for the eleventh time on September 24 and 25, 2019 at the S14 Solutions Day from COMM-TEC GmbH in Uhingen. In addition to presentations and workshops, over 50 exhibitors will present the newest products and solutions on the topics of collaboration, audio, digital signage, presentation systems, and UCC Unified Communication & Collaboration solutions at the more than 1,000 square meter large trade fair. Under the motto ?Companies don´t do business, people do?, the personal exchange between manufacturers, experts, and professional visitors is the focus of this industry meeting.
New manufacturers at COMM-TEC and the expansion of the profile in these areas show how important comprehensive cooperation and exchange has become in a globalized professional world. Here, the first synergies due to belonging to DCC Technology / Exertis are already visible. The digitization of the way people work is currently the central theme at many companies. Video communication in conference rooms and at the own desk represents a potent and effective technology for modern companies in providing a way to work together efficiently. Whether it is the huddle room, conference room, shop area, or show stage: the focus is mostly on the visualization of and access to images and topics. COMM-TEC is staging this specifically for the S14 and is presenting appropriate large image solutions and transmission programs for various areas of applications: large displays on video walls, signage solutions, LED walls, to projections. At this exhibition, visitors can take a look at these technologies while on a guided tour.
Highlights at the S14 Solutions Day 2019
With over 50 exhibitors on more than 1,000 square meters of exhibition space, this year?s S14 Solutions Day is even larger than the previous year. In addition to manufacturers that have already been represented, like Barco and its news from the areas of collaboration, UCC, and projection, there will be several interesting new additions from the COMM-TEC portfolio this year. For example, Lifesize, a specialist in high-resolution video conferences, conference room telephony, touch screens, and cloud-based platforms for video collaboration, will introduce itself at the S14 for the first time.
AOPEN, a leading manufacturer in digital signage for PCs and all-in-one displays, is also new. Its very robust 24/7 solutions are optimized for use in digital signage and can be operated using any operating system and all standard digital signage software. With VESTEL, there is an additional provider of professional digital signage and touch display solutions. LG Electronics, a leading supplier of electronic technology, will present solutions in the areas of LED, transparent OLED, and high brightness.
DEXON provides solutions in the area of video wall controllers for multi-screen video wall projects. Typical applications include control rooms, process monitoring, and secure areas, but also applications in the conference room. RGBlink, a leading manufacturer of video processing equipment in Asia, will present video scalers, switchers, and routers for system integration, live events, and broadcast applications.
12 Workshops / Trainings and three On-site Presentations
The lecture program touches upon exciting topics in working in the modern age and how work processes will change as digitization moves along. The ?modern workspace? and contemporary meeting culture are characterized by smooth and optimized work processes. Helpful here is the efficient management of capacity for meeting rooms via intelligent room booking systems, which are a central component of the lecture program. The program is further enhanced by display workshops covering the hottest topics like large image installations and projection. The topic of AV over IP is also a key component of the program. This area is rapidly taking on importance against the backdrop of the merging of AV and IT. Furthermore, there will be workshops on high-class audio technical trends and powerful systems to improve speech understandability for any application.

As a special add-on bonus, interested commercial partners will have access to the all-day BrightSign Introductory and Sales Training class or the Advanced Technical Training class on the day before the S14 Solutions Day. Here, participants will learn everything there is to know about configuring players and networks.
