When it comes to the best student housing, London’s Tottenham Hale offers the perfect student lifestyle. Here’s why

(firmenpresse) - For anyone who comes to the UK to study abroad, one of the first tasks is to organise student housing. London’s Tottenham Hale offers a super exciting student lifestyle with a cool vibe and surprisingly affordable accommodation for somewhere so up-and-coming and convenient.

Transport

Being well connected with transport links is probably the biggest bonus of all when it comes to Tottenham student housing. London is extremely easy to access from here by tube, bus and high-speed rail and it’s going to be even better from 2020 onwards, when major network improvements are finalised.

Here are the times it takes to get to…

•Kings Cross: 12 minutes
•Oxford Circus: 16 minutes
•Stratford City: 11 minutes
•Stansted Airport: 35 minutes

Lifestyle Heaven in Tottenham Hale

Getting out and about to experience the student life couldn’t be easier, especially with a host of affordable places to eat ready available. There’s a vast a range of ethnic options from Turkish and Middle Eastern to Japanese, South American and Italian and there’s always other new eateries to explore. (For the cheese lovers, a visit to London’s favourite Wildes Cheese is a must!)

For those looking to immerse themselves in the great British beer culture, the popular Antwerp Arms and Coach and Horses are authentic, cosy and great fun for a quiet drink or an evening out. There are also a couple of craft breweries where you can spend a few hours sampling the artisan beers and deciding on a new favourite every week.

Going Green

One of the best things about this area is the amount of green spaces, where you can offload the cares of study for a few hours and get back to nature very close to your student housing. London has an amazing array of parks, gardens and reserves and some of the loveliest will be right on your doorstep. Make time to experience the birdlife, wildflowers and fresh open-air activities of:

•Tottenham Marshes
•Paddock Community Nature Park
•Pocket Park
•Bruce Castle Park
•Markfield Park

Getting Sporty

Ever heard of a little premier league football team called the Spurs? One of the UK’s most famous stadiums, Tottenham Hotspur FC, is here, so you’ll have the opportunity to pop along to a game any time you like. If you’re not so much of a football fan, the stadium also plays host to large music concerts and events.

Out and About in the Neighbourhood

There’s a lot to see if you’re looking for a bit of art and culture, with regular events and exhibitions held at Tottenham Chances, Bruce Castle and the Bernie Grant Arts Centre. There are also plenty of opportunities to get involved in community-run classes at the latter.

For those in search of a fun new activity to try, the Stronghold Climbing Centre is open every day and offers a great way to stay fit and meet new people (it’s also home to a gym and café).

The local markets are great places to get fresh fruit, vegetables, baked goods and all manner of other foods. Along with the popular Seven Sisters Market (open from Monday to Saturday) there’s also Holcombe (open during the week) and Tottenham Green (which you can visit on Sundays).

It’s not hard to see why this cool and youthful part of the city is so popular for student housing. London student life can be fun and affordable when you choose Tottenham Hale!
