Amendment to Mining Licence Programme

On 22 September 2017, A-Cap Energy Limited (A-Cap, the Company) advised that an amendment to the programme of works of the Letlhakane Uranium Project (mining licence 2016/16L) to delay the pre-construction and construction period by two years was approved.
Pursuant to Section 43 of the Botswana Mines and Minerals Act, 1999, the holder of a mining licence may, from time to time, notify the Minister of amendments he wishes to make to his programme of mining operations and such amendments shall, unless the Minister rejects them within three months after being so notified, have effect after such period. On 23 April 2019, directors and management of A-Cap met with the Botswana Department of Mines and submitted a letter requesting a further amendment to the commencement of the pre-construction and construction period by 2 years.
On Tuesday 20 August 2019, the Company received confirmation by letter from the Botswana Minister of Mineral Resources, Green Technology and Energy Security, that the amendment was approved. The amended date for the commencement of the pre-construction and construction period is 30th October 2021.
