Cable tie mount for aluminium frame T-slots
The ACFM socket from HellermannTyton - the first part of a new product series - proves how easy it is to attach a cable tie mount to construction profiles and to route cables on frames safely
(PresseBox) - Product designers from cable management specialist HellermannTyton have developed a new cable tie mount that meets the growing demand from electrical engineers for an easy way to securely attach cables to industrial profile frames.
The ACFM base can be mounted or dismounted in the profile slot with a 90° rotation. No holes, no screws and no slot nuts are required for a secure hold.
This first mount (ACFM2W10PT6) is designed for a profile slot width of 10 mm and an edge thickness of 6 mm. Many manufacturers in Europe use this dimension for their 45 mm aluminium or steel profile frames.
The mount is made of impact resistant and heat stabilised PA66/6HIRHS and is suitable for heavy duty industrial applications.
The bundled can be fixed parallel or perpendicular to the profile frame with cable ties up to a width of 8 mm.
Thanks to the rounded contour, the bundle always lies centred on the mount. The special head shape of the base is optimised for easy installation by hand or with a 24 mm socket.
The head height measures only 9.3 mm and the total height 19.3 mm. The head width is 22.5 mm x 17.5 mm.
The ACFM2W10PT6 is available from electrical wholesalers. Further standard sizes will follow shortly. Special sizes and material variants adapted to customer profiles can also be produced in small series.
