MEKRA Lang again receives an award for outstanding innovation
(PresseBox) - Once again, the Digital VisionSystem (DVS) developed by MEKRA Lang receives an award. At the 25th Busworld in Brussels, MEKRA Lang once again positioned itself as an innovation driver for greater road safety. This time, the Innovation Award was presented in Brussels in recognition of the benefits of MEKRA Lang's digital mirror replacement system for coaches and city buses.
The "Innovation Label" is awarded to innovative products and services in the bus segment in Europe. In addition to MEKRA Lang, 8 other manufacturers received this label.
The digital mirror replacement system from MEKRA Lang meets a large number of legal requirements in accordance with ECE R46 and displays the fields of vision of the main and wide-angle mirrors 60 times per second with high contrast on the monitor. It improves visibility and overview for the driver and guarantees reliable functionality through self-monitoring in hardware and software (so-called functional safety).
Busworld will take place as an international trade fair from 17 to 23 October 2019. After more than 40 years, it is the oldest and best-known bus trade fair. This year MEKRA Lang will be presenting innovative visual solutions for buses and coaches in Hall 3-399. In addition to conventional mirror systems, modular camera monitor solutions, the new AAS 1312 cornering assistant and the DVS mirror replacement system will also be on display.
