Imedos Systems GmbH presents very first reference book on retinal vessel analysis
(PresseBox) - The clinical benefits of the revolutionary method of "retinal vessel analysis" have been highlighted and demonstrated in various scientific studies in recent years. Now the very first reference book on this innovative subject has been published with the title "Retinal vessel analysis ? a new method of diagnostics and risk prediction". Presented at the DOG 2019 in Berlin, the book can now be purchased from Imedos Systems GmbH.
"The concept of retinal vessel analysis describes an innovative diagnostic approach that has proven to be revolutionary, especially in the interdisciplinary field of preventive medicine," explains Dr. Walthard Vilser, Managing Director of Imedos Systems GmbH. Together with Prof. Dr. Henner Hanssen and eight other scientists, he has written the very first reference book on the subject. "It was of particular concern to us to collect our findings and research results and to present them to the scientific public," says Dr. Walthard Vilser.
In addition to the methodology, the book covers various fields of application including ophthalmology and cardiology as well as current research results. Published by UNI-MED Verlag (ISBN 978-3-9374-1576-6) it comprises 63 pages and can be purchased directly from Imedos Systems GmbH or via the publishing website www.uni-med.de at a price of ?29.80. Initially the reference book will only be available in English. However, editions in German and Chinese are planned for the near future.
