B6 Industrial-PC - High-End Industrial Computing
(PresseBox) - Cannon-Automata introduces the B6 Industrial-PC series. The devices combine Intel® CPUs of the 8th generation with a compact housing.
The B6 Industrial-PC series was specially designed for industrial applications in automation and process technology. Particular value was paid to high computing power, long-term availability and a compact design suitable for control cabinets.
The performance is scalable. Besides 6th Gen also 8th Gen Intel® processors are supported. Thanks to the high computing power available, even the most demanding control and visualization applications can be realized with B6 series devices. The comprehensive communication interfaces (e.g. 4 x Gbit Ethernet) also contribute to this. The Intel® i210 Ethernet controllers serve as an ideal hardware basis for EtherCAT® masters. Mini PCIe and M.2 slots increase flexibility and allow easy customization without design risk.
The compact housing of the B6 series guarantees installation even in electric cabinets with limited space.
