Bestselling authors consider Corona crisis as a millenium fake
The bestselling authors Marita Vollborn and Vlad Georgescu ("The Yogurt Lie, The Health Mafia, The Food Mafia, etc. titles) will be speaking again. In the booklet "The Corona Lie", now also available as a paperback, they make serious accusations against those responsible in politics - and hold them responsible for the current meltdown in the economy. According to the book, the current Corona crisis is a millennium fake, which is also reflected in the book's subtitle.

(firmenpresse) - The authors take the political leaders to task: "COVID19 is much more than a consequence of political failure. The Corona crisis is also a lie to the population - because facts and statistics are simply left out. Political decisions not only ruin our economy, but merely postpone the further outbreak for a certain time". Nor would a solution to the problem be found.
When asked why the publication would take place now of all times, the author duo refers to the documentary character of the work: "We wanted to create something that could be used in the retrospective of current events for coming to terms with them".
MARITA VOLLBORN: born in 1965, studied agronomy at the Humboldt University in Berlin and journalism at the University of Music and Drama in Hanover. She is a freelance science and business journalist and has worked for leading media. Vollborn was under contract with SPIEGEL online, published in leading print media such as Süddeutsche Zeitung, Frankfurter Rundschau, Handelsblatt, Focus-Magazin, taz. The bestseller "The Yogurt Lie. Die unappetizlichen Geschäfte der Lebensmittelindustrie" (The Yogurt Lie. The Unsavoury Businesses of the Food Industry) is part of the holdings of the Library of the German Bundestag, after the FAZ chose the work as one of the 15 most important non-fiction books of the year at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2006.
VLAD GEORGESCU: Born in 1966, studied chemistry at the Technical University of Hanover and journalism at the University of Music and Drama in Hanover. He is a freelance science and business journalist and, together from 2001 to 2018, was the editorial director of the biotech webzine LifeGen de, which was published internationally from 2001 to 2018.
