(PresseBox) - The cold, ice, snow and moisture ? winter is a season that makes stringent demands on vehicles. With its Elparts range Herth+Buss Fahrzeugteile offers a comprehensive selection of electrics, installation, tools and lighting systems for cars and commercial vehicles. The 81658500 headlight and the 80690329 worklight have now been added to its portfolio. Both lights feature patented snow-melting and anti-icing technology and are characterised by their high resistance to vibrations and shocks. Developed for use under extreme conditions, these lights have undergone full testing. Thanks to the patented snow-melting and anti-icing technology, they are particularly suitable for all types of construction machinery, as well as snow ploughs and tractors.

Patented protection from icing-up

The lens is heated to prevent ice and snow forming on the lights. With temperatures of -25 degrees Celsius and approx. five millimetres of ice on the lens, the temperature is increased to -18 degrees Celsius after one minute, to -1 degree Celsius after five minutes and to 15 degrees Celsius after ten minutes. The maximum temperature of 68 degrees Celsius is reached after one hour.

Light in the dark? the variable headlight

Reliable vehicle lighting is essential for good visibility, especially when it is dark and gloomy. High quality and options for the connection of Herth+Buss lights reduce the rate of defects during light testing and ensure safety on the road.

The holder for attaching the new headlight to the vehicle can be fitted both on the rear or the bottom of the light. The indicator, which is supplied separately, can be mounted on three sides of the headlight.
