Alwin Schauer Named New Chairman of the Management Board of SAG Deutschland GmbH
(PresseBox) - Effective April 1, 2020, Alwin Schauer assumed the position of Chairman of the Management Board of SAG Deutschland GmbH and Senior Vice President?Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Alwin Schauer joins Software AG from U.S.-based cloud provider Salesforce, where he most recently served as Area Vice President, Cloud Sales EMEA. During his 20+-year career, he has accumulated extensive experience in building successful sales teams and launching companies with a strong focus on customers and international growth.
Commenting on his new position with Software AG, Schauer stated, ?I?m excited to accelerate Software AG?s growth in the DACH region, to sharpen the focus of our teams on customer success and enter new segments through innovation in all product lines. Second Managing Director Raul Moesner will be at Schauer?s side from the beginning. Moesner holds a degree in business management and has been with Software AG since 2008. In addition to his current function as Vice President, FC&A for DACH and EMEA East, he is responsible for the success of Software AG?s transformation to a subscription business model, which is part of the Helix strategy implemented in 2019.
SAG Deutschland GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Software AG with responsibility for all sales and marketing activities for the Software AG Group in the DACH region.
