Best-selling author and life coach Clarence "KD" McNair will share the importance of mental fitness in the Let's Get Help Mental Wellness Summit.

(firmenpresse) - My name is Clarence "KD" McNair, known from singing in male R&B group Prophet Jones and today's best-selling author of “Give It One More Try." I dedicate this book to all of the overcomers in the world, and strive to shift the reader’s mind from that one negative thought seeking to alter their life. I share different experiences I encountered while working as a national recording artist, and how I improved from my anxiety disorders after losing my record label deal for second album in 2002. For years, I suffered greatly from panic attacks and other difficulties. This book shares my road to recovery, and how changing my perspective led to a restored way of living. On April 25, 2020 at 10:00 am EST, I am excited to headline in Monica Jackson Wellness Center free webinar Let's Get Help Mental Wellness Summit. The webinar will reveal how to corona proof your relationships, acknowledge trauma & emerging triumphant, hacking mental health resources in the workplace, and the food-mood connection. I believe social distancing is teaching us how to see life from a different perspective. This season is forcing us to switch roles with people who live with restrictions everyday. During this crisis of financial struggles and medical issues, I encourage people to use this time to reflect, rebuild, and come face-to-face with themselves. In this summit, I will teach people how to overcome the fear of this moment and develop gratitude in the midst of the epidemic. I hope to help people be grateful for this time to slow down, and reap the benefits of the things we take for granted. My knowledge and experience has helped me be the strategist and problem solver I am today. My skills in life and career coaching has inspired and redirected the paths of many. In 2015, I helped raise money for the Life and Breath Foundation, which focuses on research development for the cure of Sarcoidosis. Prior to the closing of Gilmor Elementary School, I regularly supported them because of the poverty and crime in the community. I'm grateful to have been honored with a certificate of appreciation for my commitment and dedication to the school all the way to its end. In 2019, I began advocating for The G.R.O.W Program, an acronym for "getting ready for obstacles in the world." This program is especially significant to him because the organization focuses on the mental health of minority children, while making positive impacts in the lives of young boys. I'm also active in "A Day of Giving" campaign presented by FMG. In addition, I've donated to the National College Bond Foundation, extended my services by speaking to the U.S troops in Tokyo, and fed more than 500 people in downtown Baltimore with MLK/Pennsylvania Ave. community block party.  My first book “Give It One More Try” was released in November 2019 at https://mcnairbooks.com/ to shed light on the importance of mental fitness. I shares the depths of my early traumatic experiences, and how I made the decision to find other ways to push for the life I have today. After launching the “Give It One More Try” campaign, I received an honorary award from Baltimore Mayor Jack Young and awards from Beth Tfiloh Dan Community School for my community service. Today, the book is a number one seller on Amazon in men’s health. In the upcoming Let's Get Help Mental Wellness Summit, I will lead empowering conversations that introduce practical self-care and wellness techniques.
