Katie Price Visits Escapade to Film New TV Show
(firmenpresse) - LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 08/31/11 -- The Superstar businesswoman Katie Price has a new upcoming Sky Living TV show and one of the episodes has been filmed in the Camden store of the fancy dress company Escapade. Contestants from the show were filmed inside the store, searching for the perfect fancy-dress outfit, as part of a task testing their skills in promotion. The show, which will be broadcast in the autumn, follows Katie Price as she searches for a talented male or female model for her first foray into management, with her recently founded modelling agency, Black Sheep Management.
The programme is looking to find the next big thing in promotion, hoping to unearth someone who breaks the mould of modelling talent and can lead large-scale commercial marketing campaigns under the guidance of Katie Price - aka Jordan - and match her phenomenal success. Handpicked from talented individuals all over the country, the short listed contestants participate in weekly tasks that test their talent and character, offering the would-be stars a glimpse into the competitive, cut-throat world of professional modelling. The task filmed in Escapade involved contestants finding themselves a fancy-dress costume for use in publicity, testing their ability to have a sense of humour about themselves and their work, while still trying to look as good as possible.
Of course, Katie Price is no stranger to fancy dress, and has hosted a number of costume parties over the years - notably her 33rd birthday party this May. In fact, has provided Katie Price, her friends and her family with a number of costumes in the past, including the padded Baywatch swimsuit she wore for her 33rd birthday.
Speaking about the filming, Yasmin Kahn, Escapade's Camden store manager, said, "At Escapade we always get a little excited when a television series films in our Camden store. As well as filming for Katie Price's new show, we have had MTV and German television channel RTL all film in store this year. There are a fair few Katie Price fans at Escapade, so it was exciting to be part of it."
