MONACO: "IMMERSION", THE INTERACTIVE EXHIBITION IN SUMMER 2020
THE GREAT CORAL BARRIER CAN BE VISITED AT THE OCEANOGRAPHIC MUSEUM OF MONACO

(firmenpresse) - From July 18, 2020, the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco becomes the privileged host of a distinguished guest: the Great Barrier Reef. One of the 7 natural wonders of the world.
It will be revealed through the original exhibition, which is called "IMMERSION".
A new multimedia device will allow visitors to experience a dive into the Ocean to meet the emblematic species that inhabit the largest coral ecosystem on the planet.
This immersive experience, at the crossroads of contemplation and interaction, engages and educates the public to a better protection of the marine world.
While they only cover 0.2% oceans, coral reefs are the home to 30% of biodiversity Marine Species. These essential oases of life to man in many ways, are however widely threatened on a big Scale.
As part of his 2020 thematic program devoted to coral reefs including the exhibition "IMMERSION"
is the highlight of the Summer Season 2020. The Oceanographic Museum in Monaco offers at most
large numbers of being a privileged witness of beauty and the fragility of these ecosystems.
From July 18, and this for more than a year, the prestigious Salle de la Baleine of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco becomes the theater Stage of a virtual aquatic ballet and immersive Site: the exhibition "IMMERSION".
Through the use of advanced technology and a system, which projects in real time, "IMMERSION" allows the public to discover and interact with a fictional environment in his working, but realistic and naturalist in his rendering.
With a centered experience on the realism of the sensation of diving, the visitor, such as a diver during his exploration, sees evolve naturally around him from the different species who interact according to his behavior, its movements and his gestures.
The public is evolving therefore in a living environment in perpetual motion, where all settings are possible: from the humpback whale to sharks and barracudas with corals fluorescent.
Written by a team of international designers, in close collaboration with the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco and its partners, as well as divers and biologists, the experience is both entertaining and engaging for the Visitor.
By making the practice of diving accessible to the greatest numbers of visitors, "IMMERSION" offers to the public a unique Experience.
