Book an All Inclusive Ski Holiday This Winter and Raise the Office Morale

ID: 617094

Why not embrace the end of lockdown and give your team a much-needed morale boost? Here's everything you need to know about all inclusive ski holidays.

(firmenpresse) - All inclusive ski holidays are no longer the exclusive domain of the wealthy. Over the last few decades, these packages have evolved to become more accessible to a wide range of budgets.

Nowadays, these deals are becoming an increasingly popular option for office getaways as well. When travelling with a group of colleagues, going all inclusive can certainly save a lot of unnecessary hassle, leaving you more time to enjoy the pistes. After months of lockdown, office morale is probably running pretty low – and a ski trip might be exactly what your team needs this winter!

What is actually included in all inclusive ski holidays?

The term ‘all inclusive ski holiday’ is deceptively simple. What is actually included in the price of the package will depend on the provider – so it’s a good idea to read the fine print before you go ahead and book for your group.

If money is no object, then the packages might include everything from:

Accommodation
Flights and chauffeur service
Three meals a day
Potentially an open bar and unlimited snacks
Lift passes and equipment hire
Other sports activities and access to a spa

If you’re working on a more limited budget, some of these features might not be part of the deal. You might be permitted one alcoholic drink per dinner, and be charged extra for snacks that you eat between meal times.

Another thing to consider is that these meal times will be predetermined, so you’ll need to work with the provider’s timetable during your holiday. You should be aware of this so that your group doesn’t sleep past breakfast, or miss out on dinner because you couldn’t drag yourselves away from the pistes!

To really get the most value for your money, you’ll also want to eat the meals provided at your accommodation rather than exploring the local restaurants. However, not having to make these decisions can save a lot of hassle if you are travelling in a large group.

What are the different types of all inclusive ski holiday packages?

There are two main types of deals:

Full board packages. These include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and usually one drink per meal (although alcohol might cost extra). Some snacks and drinks might be included as an optional extra, but this will of course increase the cost of the deal. Full board works great for groups who want to eat their main meals in the accommodation.
Half board. Going half board will normally mean that you eat breakfast and dinner in your hotel or chalet, while you source your own lunches. This means you can spend the whole day on the slopes if you want to, and just stop off for a quick bite in one of the mountainside cafes by the lifts. Snacks and drinks at your accommodation will cost extra, but the initial price for the package will be lower.

Skiers will be pleased to know that many providers give you lift passes as part of the deal. They will also be happy to arrange equipment hire and lessons for you, though depending on the provider’s terms you may need to pay extra for these services. Using these services will save you a lot of time filling out forms, handling bookings and making phone calls.

Whether you select a half board or full board option, it’s best to book with a reputable ski holiday company. The whole idea behind these packages is that any hassle and stress is put on the provider rather than your group, so that you can really get the most out of your trip. Travelling with a well-respected company will make that process especially streamlined, so you’ll be hitting the slopes in no time.
