In the current fiscal year 2020, SONOTEC® GmbH has sharpened its strategic orientation in the business unit Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
(PresseBox) - In the future, the company will focus increasingly on one of its core competencies - the development, manufacture and marketing of customer-specific ultrasonic transducers.
Ultrasonic probes are often exposed to high pressures, extreme temperatures and aggressive media. In order to meet these requirements, the ultrasonic specialist develops probes with high sensitivity, which can withstand even the strongest environmental influences. The ultrasonic probes, manufactured in Halle (Saale), are also characterized by excellent acoustic properties, which are ensured by the use of a highly flexible piezo-composite technology. In addition, even small defects can be detected by using innovative technologies such as the focusing of probes by curving the piezo transducer.
Sonotec® looks back on three decades of experience and provides its customers individual, comprehensive solutions for numerous industries and inspection tasks. In addition, the company offers its customers a special service in the form of comprehensive project consulting as well as fast delivery of prototypes. With its strong in-house development department as well as piezo composite and test probe production, the company accompanies its customers from the initial product idea through to series production. The reproducibility of the acoustic properties of each individual ultrasonic transducer is of paramount importance.
