(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/01/11 -- CHOP Exploration Inc. ("CHOP") announces that due to adverse market conditions, it has decided to terminate its initial public offering at this time. CHOP intends to seek additional financing when market conditions improve.

CHOP Exploration Inc. is a mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of properties for the mining of copper and other base metals. CHOP currently holds a 100% interest in the Lac Romanet property comprised of 992 contiguous mineral claims covering approximately 47,602 hectares located in the Labrador Trough of Northern Quebec.
