High-Performance Compact Fanless Embedded Computer for Automation and Kiosk Applications
(PresseBox) - Aaronn Electronic GmbH is pleased to present Advantech's newly launched high performance fanless Embedded Computer ARK-1551, which features an Intel® i5-8365UE/Celeron® 4305UE system-on-chip (SoC) and supports multiple I/O to facilitate easy integration in harsh limited-space environments.
The ARK-1551 complies with global certifications (CE/FCC/UL/CB/BSMI/CCC), accepts 12~24V power input (-10%/+20%) and features a vibration/shock-resistant design capable of functioning in broad temperature ranges (-20 ~ 55 °C/-4 ~ 131 °F). When paired with Advantech?s edge AI VEGA modules, this fanless computer can function as an AI inference system that satisfies demands for versatile AI image recognition. Thanks to its compact size, excellent computing power, durability, and ability to function in harsh environments, ARK-1551 is ideal for applications in factory/machine automation control cabinets, industrial equipment computers, and semi-outdoor signage.
Powerful Computing in a Compact Form Factor
Advantech?s ARK-1551 is an exceedingly compact high-performance fanless system powered by an Intel® Core? i5-8365UE/Celeron® 4305UE SoC. This embedded computer supports dual DDR4 SODIMM memory (individual slots support up to 2400MHz 16GB with dual slots yielding a 32GB capacity). ARK-1551 accepts Advantech?s SQFlash NVMe SSDs, which deliver fast read/write speeds. Additionally, by utilizing Advantech?s VEGA-300 edge AI modules, ARK-1551 can function as an AI inference system for visually based AI in robotics, drone, retail, and transportation applications.
Multi-Functional Design
ARK-1551 is a multi-functional computer offering 4 x USB 3.1 Gen 2, 1 x VGA, 1 x 4K HDMI, 4 x COM, 1 x DIO, and 2 x Intel® GbE LAN. This embedded computer provides 1 x mini PCIe slot and 1 x M.2 2230 E key slot for convenient device integration. Using Intel® RAID 0/1 software, ARK-1551 accommodates two independent storage solutions?1 x 2.5? removable HDD/SSD bay and 1 x mSATA to improve adaptability for diverse applications.
Equipped With WISE-DeviceOn Intelligent Management Software
Remote monitoring and management via a centralized platform enables predictive maintenance and efficient troubleshooting while minimizing IoT device downtime. Advantech?s IoT Software Platform WISE-DeviceOn features a suite of programmable APIs including a multi-level watchdog, hardware monitor, system restore mechanism, and other user-friendly interfaces. With the inclusion of WISE-DeviceOn, ARK-1551 can be used for remotely managing, monitoring, configuring, and controlling numerous terminals to ensure easy maintenance and recovery.
