Wunderlichs protective cover for the exposed water pump of the current BMW F model series
(PresseBox) - Wunderlich presents its perfectly fitting cover for the water pump of the current BMW F model series (F 750 GS, F 850 GS/Adventure, F 900 R and F 900 XR). The Ringen-based company, which is renowned for its high-quality accessories for BMW motorbikes, has thus made a useful addition to its range of protective covers for the F series.
The water pump protective cover thus consistently blends in function and design with the convincing protection concept for which Wunderlich already offers a special protective cover set for the clutch and alternator covers of the F models.
The water pump cover and thus the function of the water pump is endangered in the event of a fall or an overturn. After all, a failure of the water pump always means that the ride is interrupted, otherwise there is the risk of a capital engine damage because the cooling is no longer guaranteed. It is therefore advisable to fit a cover to the unit and protect it reliably.
The developers at Wunderlich have designed an extremely accurately fitting, impact-resistant and light cover for this purpose. It is characterized by its attractive, discreet design, which picks up the original shape of the BMW water pump housing.
The cover is designed in such a way that any mechanical loads and force peaks that occur are evenly distributed and dissipated over the cover?s component structure. An elastomer molded element made of silicone on the inside provides additional damping. This also seals the cover against the housing of the water pump, so that dirt, moisture and dust are kept out.
The cover can be mounted in a few minutes with the belonging mounting kit.
Wunderlich is offering the cover from October at a price of 58,39 ?*, including the usual 5 year guarantee for Wunderlich products.
