(PresseBox) - Special network applications can be easily realized with the 19" 1U PUZZLE-A001 from ICP Germany. Whether for protection as Next Generation Firewall, as Anti-Virus Gateway or Content Filter, whether SD-WAN, as Router or simple Switch, the PUZZLE-A001 offers its users versatile possibilities for the realization of network applications. The PUZZLE Finder software simplifies the installation of the desired applications and thus helps to quickly set up the network device. Besides installation and update, it also allows system administration, resource monitoring, version maintenance, and much more. The App Center also enables easy download of apps and automatic installation. Open vSwitch (OVS), QEMU-KVM, Kubernets are just a few of the apps available. Further potential can be created by Docker Lightweight Micro Services, which are also available. The hardware itself consists of a 19" 1U computer with AMD® EPYCTM Embedded 3201 eight-core or Embedded 3151 four-core processor. Four DDR4 288 pin RAM sockets provide space for up to 64GB uDIMM or 128GB RDIMM with 2666MHz clock frequency. Eight GbE RJ45 slots with Broadcom DCM5720 IC and four 10GbE SFP+ slots are available as standard. With the additional network module slot, the PUZZLE-A001 can be extended for example with a dual SFP28 connector for 25GbE modules. In addition, the PUZZLE-A001 offers two PCI Express x4 slots, one PCI Express mini, one M.2, two SATA 6G connectors, one pin header for TPM2.0 modules, USB 3.1 and USB 2.0 to expand the system. The PUZZLE-A001 comes standard with a LCM display to show system relevant information and redundant power supply.
