SEB has completed its hybrid capital issue
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - SEB has completed one of the two capital enhancing measures ascommunicated on Monday this week. The issue of its EUR 500m ofnon-innovative capital contribution securities was highly successful.The final orderbook was four times oversubscribed after having beeninitially more than tenfold the size of the issue at higher priceguidance. The issue priced at 9.25 percent, equivalent to midswaps+640 bps.The tender for SEB's two USD denominated capital contributionsecurities with first call dates in March 2014 and March 2015respectively, is still in the process.SEB is a North European financial group serving some 400,000corporate customers and institutions and five million privateindividuals. SEB offers universal banking services in Sweden, Germanyand the Baltic countries - Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
