Military Police Complaints Commission to Hold a Public Interest Hearing Into the Military Police Investigations Relating to the Death of Corporal Stuart Langridge

(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/06/11 -- The Military Police Complaints Commission will hold a Public Interest Hearing into the investigations related to the death of Corporal Stuart Langridge, Commission Chair Glenn Stannard announced today.

Cpl Langridge committed suicide at Canadian Forces Base Edmonton on March 15, 2008. He had served in Bosnia and Afghanistan. His parents, Shaun and Sheila Fynes, filed a formal complaint with the Military Police Complaints Commission about investigations conducted by the Canadian Forces National Investigations Service (CFNIS).
