DUO PLAST AG wins WorldStar Award 2021

For the film manufacturer DUO PLAST 2021 got off to a flying start with its first award of the year: the WorldStar Award in the Packaging Materials&Components and the Transit categories

(PresseBox) - The WorldStar Competition is one of the major events held by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO) and the most important international award in packaging. The international jury specifically looks for packaging that is unique in its category and market environment and features a design that is better than comparable solutions when selecting the winners. 345 entries from 35 countries around the world were submitted for the 2021 award ceremony.

With its excellent DUO SHAPE EARTH 4 film, DUO PLAST is the first to successfully incorporate at least 25% post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials into the stretch films without any significant loss in film performance. This is the new benchmark for using recycled materials in stretch films while still meeting the requirements for optimum load securing.
