New Managing Director at Softing Automotive
Haar near Munich, February 8, 2021 – René Schneider took over the management of Softing’s Automotive segment on January 1, 2021, and will strengthen the management of Softing Automotive Electronics GmbH and Softing Automotive Electronics (Kirchentellinsfurt) GmbH.
René Schneider is the new Managing Director at Softing Automotive(firmenpresse) - René Schneider has been appointed the new Managing Director at Softing Automotive. He is based at the company’s headquarters in Haar near Munich (Germany). René Schneider has extensive experience in medium-sized and group-oriented companies in the automotive industry. Among other things, he was responsible for setting up a new location, sales and recruiting as Branch Manager and Business Development Manager at STAR Engineering GmbH. Furthermore, he headed up the expansion of the Automotive E/E Division at the AKKA Group. Most recently he was Regional Managing Director (Germany South East) in the Automotive, Space and Aerospace Division at AKKA Technologies.

Mr. Schneider has diverse experience especially in the optimization of development organizations as well as in the expansion of promising business areas, among others in the field of electrics/electronics.
