BluMont Capital Launches the Exemplar Global Infrastructure Fund
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/06/11 -- BluMont Capital Corporation ("BluMont Capital") is pleased to announce that it has launched the Exemplar Global Infrastructure Fund (the "Fund") managed by Capital Innovations, LLC of Wisconsin. Capital Innovations' clients include CalPERS, China Investment Corporation and Pennsylvania State Employees' Retirement System. The CIO of Capital Innovations, Michael Underhill, is the author of the bestseller "The Handbook of Infrastructure Investing", used by the CFA Institute as the instructor's text for Multiple Infrastructure Investing classes. Mr. Underhill is also a founding member of the Steering Committee for the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment which directs infrastructure investment for the United Nations Secretariat.
The Fund aims to provide high current yield and inflation protection through a concentrated portfolio of listed infrastructure investments, which provide stable cash flows and inflation protection via tariffs. Select Global Listed Infrastructure stocks tend to be well-positioned companies with proven business models and reasonably predictable profit and dividend growth potential. These businesses should also benefit from decades of demand for infrastructure globally.
