Leading Analyst Report Scores(i) Longview Solutions #1 for Overall Ease of Use Based on User Survey
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/07/11 -- Longview Solutions, a leading provider of corporate performance management (CPM) and tax reporting software, announced today that it has received the #1 score(i) for overall ease of use among CPM vendors in a recent report published by Gartner entitled "CPM Suites User Survey 2011: Customers Rate Their Corporate Performance Management Vendors(1)".
Based on end user responses collected as part of the annual Gartner Magic Quadrant for CPM Suites, the report evaluated vendors across four key areas of customer satisfaction: Overall Satisfaction; Implementation of their CPM system; Sales and Support; and Business Benefits.
Megavendors not the best option
The vendors that participated in the Survey can be categorized into four key groups: mega-vendors; pure-play vendors; Software-as-a-Service (SaaS); and mid-sized customer vendors. The report recommends that organizations that are evaluating CPM vendors not "automatically assume that buying a CPM solution from a megavendor is the best or only choice. Also evaluate pure-play suppliers, and pick the vendor that best suits your needs for functionality, business benefits and total cost of ownership."
