Jaleh Bisharat Joins oDesk as Vice President of Marketing

Bisharat, an internet marketing veteran, will spearhead marketing strategy and operations. She will also oversee product and brand marketing, communications, customer insight, lead generation, and acquisition.

Bisharat brings more than twenty years of technology marketing experience to oDesk. She has been a marketing executive at six leading Internet companies, including OpenTable and Amazon.com. She is known for taking companies from their early stages and growing them to recognizable brands. Bisharat has received awards for her work, including an Advertising Age Marketing 100 Award. She has also been named a Power 50 Marketing Executive by Advertising Age. Bisharat earned her AB from Harvard and her MBA from Harvard Business School.
