5U 19" RACK system with Intel® Xeon® processors
(PresseBox) - XEON® computing power, space for FPGA, VPU or TPU accelerator cards and up to four systems side by side on a 19" carrier tray. These are the advantages of the RACK-500AI-C246 from ICP Germany. The RACK-500AI-C246 consists of a navy blue 5U 19" chassis with a size of 440x110x221 mm (LxWxH). The computing unit consists of the SPCIE-C246 PICMG1.3 single board computer card with Intel® C246 server chipset and an Intel® Xeon® E-2176G Hexa Core processor with a base clock frequency of 3.7GHz and a turbo frequency of 4.7GHz. Four 288 pin DDR4 SDRAM slots can accommodate up to 64GB of memory with or without ECC error correction. 2x 8GB ECC memory are pre-installed at the factory. The RACK system offers dual display support with up to 4096x2304 resolution on the standard HDMI port and the optional internal display port. For mass storage, an M.2 2280 NVME slot and a 3.5" SATAIII removable drive bay are available. Furthermore, the system offers an Intel® i219LM and an Intel® i211AT Gigabit LAN port, two USB 3.2 (Gen1), up to six USB2.0, up to three RS-232 and one RS-422/485 interface. Two native third-generation PCI Express slots are available for expansion cards. The system offers one x16 and one x4 slot on the backplane. For example, AI accelerator cards from the Mustang series can be used on both. The RACK-500AI-C246 is equipped with a 350 Watt full range power supply and can be operated in a temperature range from -20 °C to 50 °C. On request, ICP Germany can supply the RACK-500AI-C246 as a ready-to-use system with suitable mass storage and operating system as well as the appropriate 19" carrier tray for the use of multiple systems.
