GreenLane Estate Winery's Greetings 2007 Cabernet Merlot to Be Offered in Vintages at LCBO

(firmenpresse) - BEAMSVILLE, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/08/11 -- GreenLane Estate Winery's Greetings brand will be available for purchase at the LCBO beginning on September 10, announced Seth Feller, Vice President of Communications, GreenLane Estate Winery.

The first Greetings varietal to be offered at the LCBO will be the 2007 Cabernet Merlot. This blend was the first produced under the Greetings label by winemaker Dianne Smith since GreenLane Estate Winery's opening in July 2010.

"This is a very exciting time for GreenLane Estate Winery as it is the first release of our wine into the LCBO Vintages category. The Greetings Cab Merlot is a wonderful light-bodied table wine that pairs well with pasta and pizza and delivers notes of bell pepper and fresh berry," noted Dianne Smith, Winemaker at GreenLane Estate Winery.

Priced at $14.95, Greetings Cabernet Merlot will be available at over 80 LCBO stores throughout the GTA. Wine critic Natalie Maclean of NatDecants.com gave the wine 87 points in a recent online review. To support the launch of the new wine into the LCBO, GreenLane Estate Winery's winemaker, Dianne Smith, will be hosting in-store tastings at the following LCBO locations:
