KTSN Mexico is now part of the Eissmann Group Automotive
(PresseBox) - Eissmann Group Automotive completes its acquisition of Minda KTSN Plastic Solutions globally with the agreement to takeover Minda KTSN Plastic Solutions Mexico. This follows the successful acquisition in March of Minda KTSN Plastic Solutions GmbH & Co. KG in Germany and Poland.
The newly acquired Mexican site in Querétaro has around 130 employees and is located in the automotive center north-west of Mexico City with many factories of international car manufacturers such as BMW, Mercedes, GM, Mazda and Honda.
KTSN is a well-known automotive supplier in the fields of injection molding and kinematics technologies. KTSN products include gloveboxes, seat back panels, cup holders and other plastic components for the automotive industry.
By combining KTSN?s fields of expertise with those acquired through the recent acquisition of ingeneers CaR GmbH, a developer of custom embedded electronic control systems, and Eissmann?s expertise in premium interior surfaces, Eissmann is well positioned to bring completely new and innovative solutions to the automotive interior's market.
With the acquisition of the Mexican site in Querétaro, Eissmann is now represented by two locations in Mexico. Jay Deis, President of North America, said of the purchase, ?by bundling the technologies from the two sites, Eissmann is positioned in Mexico to realize all value-added processes in-house for its customers - from injection molding to the finished assemblies, fully vertically integrated.? This will give Eissmann an even broader base in the North American market.
The Eissmann Group is increasingly positioning itself as a tech integrator and thus as an even more efficient partner for customers in the automotive industry. As a company that truly thinks outside the box, Eissmann doesn?t simply follow trends, it also shapes them and turns complex challenges into genuine enthusiasm.
Eissmann Group Automotive, with 15 sites across 3 continents, 5,000 employees worldwide and a turnover of 470 million, has extended its expertise in the field of laminated leather for high-quality interior automotive components and continued to refine its development and industrialization processes. As a system supplier and expert in mobile living spaces, Eissmann works with almost all renowned automotive manufacturers and suppliers.
