Optical components of up toØ250 mm

(PresseBox) - Ultrafast high-energy laser systems allow to perform some of the most advanced experiments in physical sciences, such as electron and ion acceleration, as well as high-harmonic and XUV generation. Scaling up the power of such systems often requires larger optical elements. At UltraFast Innovations (UFI®) we are equipped with the Helios 800 Gen II magnetron coating plant from Bühler Group. This latest addition has allowed to expand UFI’s portfolio and enabled production of large aperture dispersive optics. We are currently able to produce up to Ø200 mm optical components such as beam splitters, anti-reflective coatings, ultra-highly reflective and dispersive mirrors in addition to our existing portfolio of up to Ø250 mm metallic and high reflective mirrors.
