For many riders of the current BMW R 1250 GS and the R 1200 GS LC, they are virtually a basic part of the basic equipment: the Wunderlich Toolbox. Now the Grafschafter specialists for high-quality BMW motorcycle accessories have added the Toolbox for all air-cooled BMW R 1200 GS Adventure to their range. These Toolboxes can also be ordered either with keys or - particularly popular - with a lock that can be coded to the vehicle key.

If you have your home workshop well organized, you can blindly find any nut. It‘s the same on a motorcycle tour. If you‘re on a trip and, for lack of a suitable opportunity, have stowed your tools at the bottom of your suitcase or sometimes here, sometimes there, it‘s not uncommon for you to have to fumble and rummage around to find the Allen wrench or the repair kit you need. This is annoying and in the dark or at the edge of busy roads may also be unnecessarily dangerous.
This tailor-made Toolbox offers perfectly accessible, additional storage space for tools and all sorts of helpful little things that you like to have with you on the road and would like to grab easily.
It integrates perfectly into the space between the right pannier rack and the rear wheel, making effective use of the available space. The functional box is equipped with four solid threaded inserts and is mounted securely and inconspicuously with a precisely fitting holder on the standard pannier rack. For good accessibility at all times, it can be opened and closed from the rear - even with the panniers mounted, of course. The cover is secured against loss. The robust box made of high-quality plastic is waterproof.
Ingenious and extremely practical: The keyed alike version
Wunderlich offers the smart Toolbox in two locking variants: it is available either with a special lock, whose locking mechanism can be individually coded to the key of the respective BMW R 1200 GS Adventure, or with a conventional lock. The lock, which locks the same way after coding, proves to be extremely practical, as it saves the additional key that would otherwise be required. And you can‘t lose what you don‘t need. Both lock variants are splash-proof.
Matching: The Cordura® interior bags
To match the Toolbox, Wunderlich offers a practical, high-quality inner bag made of robust Cordura®, which can be filled by the rider himself ( #41602-002, €39.90) or equipped with a motorcycle-specific breakdown kit ( #41602-102, €139.90).
