L-TRIS is Ready for the Challenges of the Future
(PresseBox) - At this year's Productronica in Munich, L-TRIS, a subsidiary of the Photonic Systems Group in Krailling, presented the next generation laser trimmer. The LT50XX product group combines knowledge gained from more than 25 years of experience in laser trimming, state-of-the-art industrial machine design as well as the latest technologies and strategies with regard to measurement technology, laser technology and motion systems. The new LT50XX product group is thus optimally positioned for the future.
The LT50XX product group scores with the highest accuracy with regard to the new measuring technology, maximum throughput and high yield. Innovative axes and drivers ensure highly dynamic and precise stepping and repeat movements, designed for reliable 24/7 operation. The optional use of ultra-short pulse laser sources is already standard in the LT50XX product group. Improved and automated setup functions also ensure easy and efficient product changeover.
Thanks to innovative components, the new measuring system is exceptionally powerful. Compared to the competition, it is up to four times faster and works up to a factor of 10 more accurately than known measuring systems. Another plus is the now enlarged measuring range (m? - G?).
As powerful as the system is, it requires very little space. The machines are currently the smallest compared to the competition and require less floor space in the clean room, which is also reflected in the range of automations developed by L-TRIS for the trim systems.
With regard to the sub-components, the LT50XX product group is designed according to the n+1 principle, so that there is always more than one supplier in the supply chain and thus future availability is secured several times over.
