NEVADO Discovers 18 Additional Massive Oxides Iron-Titanium-Vanadium lenses at Surface on the La Blache Project
- New massive oxides occurrences linked to 6 kilometric-sized target rings part of the 420 km2 La Blache Anorthositic Complex - Horizontal to sub-horizontal lenses, sills and veins of massive oxides ranging from 3 metres to 750 metres in observed length, and 50 metres to 900 metres wide - The Farrell-Taylor Occurrence is one such lens having been modelled geophysically and drilled with current dimensions of 1,500 metres by 550 metres by 115 metres. Now there appears to be at least 9 other lenses offering similar size potential as the Farrell-Taylor Occurrence - NEVADO stakes more mineral claims to the north-eastern and southern boundaries of project

(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 09/13/11 -- NEVADO RESOURCES CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE: VDO)(FRANKFURT: NSV) (the "Company" or "NEVADO") is pleased to announce new surface prospecting discoveries on the La Blache #2 Claim Block from the Company's wholly-owned La Blache Iron-Titanium-Vanadium Project (the "Project"). The prospecting program, completed over a two-month period, found 18 new surface massive oxides lenses.
Field characteristics of the observed and projected dimensions are shown in an appended table. Highlights include:
The Iron-Titanium-Vanadium grades are not expected to be different from the released drill hole and field sample assay results from 2010 and 2011 for the massive and semi-massive to vein-type oxide. Grades in the massive oxides generally range in the 59% to 70% Fe2O3, 17% to 22% TiO2 and 0.05 to 0.15% V2O5. The higher grades are situated in the more massive oxides that are surrounded by anorthosites containing 5% to 25% disseminated and vein-type oxides ranging from a few metres to more than 100 m in core length which gave lower grades in the ranges of 15% to 45% Fe2O3, 5% to 15% TiO2 and 0.03% to 0.10% V2O5.
Mr. Michael Curtis, President and CEO of NEVADO, stated "As the exploration work progresses at La Blache it is becoming obvious that the massive black oxides mineralization is not only pervasive across the entire La Blache #1 and #2 claim blocks, but the mineralization follows specific kilometric and elliptical trends forming in some cases significant masses or lenses. The Farrell-Taylor Occurrence is one such lens having been modelled geophysically and drilled with current dimensions of 1,500 metres by 550 metres by 115 metres. Now there appears to be at least 9 other lenses offering similar size potential as the Farrell-Taylor Occurrence. NEVADO's planned 15,000 metres drill program scheduled to start in September will confirm this potential."
Mr. Curtis added "NEVADO also staked and registered 186 mineral claims along the north-eastern and southern boundaries of the project to ensure maximum coverage of potential target areas."
