Goetze adopts the Frisbee spirit
(PresseBox) - The manufacturer of safety valves and fittings, Goetze KG Armaturen, is the official sponsor of the German Frisbee Sports Association (DFV) national team for the 2022 World Championships.
Fairplay is at the essence of the Goetze company and the sport of Frisbee, on the field and beyond. It's about personal responsibility, mutual respect and communication, and all without referees. The DFV mixed team of the end zone sport "Ultimate" can prove this in August 2022 in the USA when it competes in the worldwide games of non-Olympic sports, the World Games.
"It's interesting how many parallels there are between our Goetze mission statement and the spirit of the game of Frisbee." Detlef Weimann, Managing Director of Goetze KG, notes. "Fairness, self-confidence and conflict resolution also play an important role in our day-to-day work and in our interaction with colleagues. Therefore, we are looking forward to a lively exchange with each other and to mutual learning."

Goetze is the main jersey sponsor for the DFV's World Games national team, which will consist of seven women and seven men. The sponsorship will be expanded over the course of the year with joint workshops on the topic of "Spirit of the Game within companies", new episodes of the Goetze podcast hör.BAR all about the sport of Frisbee and Goetze, as well as other exciting campaigns.

In July 2019, in fourth generation, his son Mr. Tobias Weimann became a member of the board, who successfully supports the strategy of market expansion.
