(PresseBox) - The space-saving product design of the ODU MEDI- SNAP® offers a high degree of combination possibilities in the smallest installation space thanks to small designs, high pole density and low weight. With the new size 3.5, even up to a maximum of 41 signal contacts are possible. However, the new connector is also ideally suitable for a whole range of hybrid requirements. Whether you search a solution for power with signals as well as fluids, fiber optics or coax, the ODU MEDI?SNAP® in size 3.5 offers numerous individual design options thanks to its modular design.
There are many possible applications for this plastic connector. The ODU MEDI?SNAP® in size 3.5 is used in the medical field as well as in industrial electronics or measuring and testing technology.
In the field of medical technology, examples of possible applications include endoscopy or arthroscopy, dental applications as well as defibrillators, robot technology or cosmetic applications. The highest patient and user protection (2 MOPP/2 MOOP) according to IEC 60601-1 is guaranteed. A Hygienic and fully sterilizable cable assembly with silicone overmolding can be offered as an option. In addition to its very good mechanical properties, ODU MEDI?SNAP® in size 3.5 offers, in connection with this cable assembly, a pleasant, tack-free feel without stick-slip effect, maximum alternating bending strength and maximum process reliability in production. In the industrial sector, uses in test equipment, LED devices, automotive test systems, entertainment systems or uninterruptible power supplies are just some of the possible applications.
An individual contact configuration as well as a flexible complete system consisting of push-pull connector, cable with suitable assembly and an optional laser marking are implemented according to customer requirements.
