Battery integration makes automatic cable tying tool portable
The unique bundling system Autotool CPK hybrid from HellermannTyton can be used independently of mains power thanks to integration of interchangeable 18 V Metabo CAS batteries.
(PresseBox) - HellermannTyton announces a new development in its Autotool range of automatic cable tie guns.
The Autotool CPK hybrid is a fully automatic and process-reliable cable tying system. “Hybrid” because the tool can be used cordless with an 18V Metabo CAS rechargeable battery or electrically via a mains power pack.
“We have introduced the battery option in response to customer needs for a portable automatic cable tying tool, for example on large installations and for greater flexibility in industrial production”, says Jan Göllner, Category Manager EMEA Tool Systems & Identification at HellermannTyton. "As the successor to the Autotool 2000 CPK, the new CPK hybrid is more flexible to use thanks to battery operation and even ties 20 percent faster," adds Jan Göllner.

Further details about the Autotool CPK hybrid:
Optimised for fast and consistent bundling up to 20 mm in diameter
8,000 bindings possible on a single battery charge
5 tension and 3 quality settings plus features like tension-free cutting, defined loop diameters and excess strap
Can be integrated into automated processes or installed with Bench Mount and Overhead Suspension Kits
The HT Data Management CPK software includes tool settings and enables precise process documentation and monitoring of each individual binding for evaluation and quality assurance purposes
Cable ties for this Autotool system continue to be supplied in black or natural (other colours available on request) on bandoleers of 50 or reels of 3,500 pieces.
