Precision miniature couplings

(PresseBox) - The smallest representative of the servo compensating couplings, the miniature couplings, are designed to compensate for the misalignment or an axial displacement of two axes or shafts. Depending on the design, they are used in different areas such as tachometers, stepper motors, NC axes, potentiometers, robot drives, handling equipment, angle encoders or servo drives. They are available as bellows, elastomer or cross slide couplings and are attached to the shaft using a clamping ring or set screw.
As metal bellows couplings, the miniature couplings transmit high speeds without any play or maintenance. They are characterized by high torsional rigidity and low mass moment of inertia.
The compact elastomer miniature couplings are ideal for even larger shaft misalignments. They are pluggable, play-free and flexible, also have good vibration-damping behavior and are electrically insulating. This also characterizes the cross slide couplings, which, in addition to the short overall length, also offer a large displacement capacity and low restoring forces. Because the couplings can be plugged in, any combination of different bore diameters is possible.
In normal operation, the couplings are maintenance-free and when installed correctly, the JAKOB miniature couplings have an almost unlimited service life.
The shortest delivery times are guaranteed thanks to the tried-and-tested modular system and stocks of the most common diameters.
