(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/14/11 -- The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced the removal from Canada of an individual identified on the CBSA "Wanted" list for serious criminality. Reginald George King, from Jamaica, was apprehended on August 19, 2011, in Walford, Ontario, by the Ontario Provincial Police following tips from the public to the Border Watch Line. King had been in CBSA custody since his apprehension.

This update follows the announcement on August 18, 2011, by the Honourable Vic Toews, Minister of Public Safety; Candice Hoeppner, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Safety; Chris Alexander, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Defence; and Luc Portelance, President of the Canada Border Services Agency, urging Canadians to help identify 32 individuals listed on the CBSA Web site who have failed to comply with the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and have criminal convictions in Canada. Since this announcement, four individuals have been apprehended or located, and, as of today, one has been removed from Canada.

Members of the public are reminded that they should not take action to apprehend the individuals listed on the CBSA Web site. Any information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals should be reported to the CBSA Border Watch Line at 1-888-502-9060.
